Endlich Nichtschwimmer

The first time we had the pleasure of working with Dendemann, a german hip hop legend, was 2005 in New York, during the video “tut mir leid” starring J-luv, Dendemann and Das Bo.

Soon after Dendemann wanted us to make the video for “Endlich Nichtschwimmer”. The song is about Dende’s experience as a lifeguard and the music video was shot entirely frame by frame with a still camera mounted on a motion control rig. This technik allowed Kompost to add an additional information layer by adding an animated storyline to the video.

The Video won an EDI for Special Effects.
